This year, the Twin Cities Ghostbusters took our GHOSTBUSTIN' 911 party room to a new home... Crypticon Minneapolis! If you've ever visited our party room at CONvergence, then you know what to expect...but year after year, we pride ourselves on kicking things up a notch, & this year was no exception.

The hotel room was twice as big as years past, which really allowed room to spread out. Throughout both Friday & Saturday nights, the room was packed with people. Our parties lasted from 6:00 or 7:00 pm to 4:00 or 5:00 am.

One of the new things we included was a photo op cutout of the Ghostbusters logo. Jen Deveney hand-painted the logo on a 4'x4' board which was later mounted to a stand.

It was a pretty big hit as, one after another...party goers got BUSTED! Check out the slideshow below...

One of the coolest things about Crypticon is the celebrity guest list. Each year, Crypticon hosts 20 to 30 special guests including actors, filmmakers, FX artists, TV/Radio personalities, comic book artists, etc. Famous guests from the past have included Billy Dee Williams, Richard Kiel, Ted Raimi, Margot Kidder & Ernie Hudson to name a few. In fact, Crypticon was where we met Ernie Hudson & got him to appear in GHOSTBUSTIN' 911. Click here to see how.

Below are some pics of the celebrity guests we got to meet. Hover over each pic for more info...

Take a brief video tour of the room. Jen Deveney had to wait until 4am when the room had died down enough to finally get a good look...
